DON’T Buy the Bath & Body Works Crystal Line!

Bath and Body Works lotions are full of bad chemicals (BHA and BHT, Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid EDTA) and they’re made to suck the moisture out of your skin so that you have to reapply more. This line doesn’t even involve crystals at all, they just slapped a label on it and called it a Crystal Collection.
Yes, crystals are trending, but don’t buy into everything. The beauty of crystals and minerals is that it’s natural and helps the body. This is the complete opposite of that aspect.
There are tons of crystal themed bath products out there that are actually good for your skin and they are just as mainstream as Bath and Body Works, and there are even better small businesses to support. I couldn’t call myself a glamour witch if I used BBW, it’s just too fake and not good for you.

For almost 2 years, I ran a Facebook group called Mermaids for Marijuana, which was all about sisterhood in a cannabis positive manner. I’m ending that group and starting a new one called #EndGirlonGirlHate which is a more direct message of self love, body positivity, and sisterhood. If you are 21+, need some new girl friends in a cannabis positive online setting, you are welcome to join!
This is a witch blog/journal, but it’s crazy how much the rest of your life will be brought up by the energies (I’m on a diety free journey, so far) I’m a baby witch and my readings for myself lately are all “knowledge, learn, start your practice” but I also get, “you need to get healthy or you can’t progress”, which is addressing my disordered eating. I’m thankful they care about my challenges, I actually make it a point nowadays to eat before I do readings. I’m learning that your body is a vessel for your magick, and it must be healthy (or as healthy as you can be, I see you Spoonies) for your magick and journey to progress. Maybe by next new moon I’ll have put on more weight, here’s hoping!
All women welcome! (Yes, trans women are women!!! Come on in!)
Grounding With Other Elements
Water:
- Sit in a body of water, a natural one or a bath. Feel where the water touches your skin. Find the line at the surface, where it touches you. Go around your whole body. Feel weightless.
- Drink a glass of water, slowly and steadily. Feel it travel down your throat and into the rest of your body. Finish the glass.
- Listen to the rain, the waves, the babbling brook. Feel the sound. Let it vibrate through you until your vibrations match.
Air:
- Feel the wind on your face. Let the spread-out pieces of you be picked up by the wind, and pushed back to you. Let the wind carry the unnecessary stresses away.
- Deep breath in. Deep breath out. Repeat.
- Take a word, sound, or phrase. Repeat it or sing it, find that pitch and speed that feels right.
Fire:
- Feel the heat from a fire, let it warm your bones.
- You are a candle flame. Sit or stand tall. Let the excess energy burn up and out the top of your head like smoke. Flicker as needed.
- Turn off the lights, light a candle. Watch its light flicker on the walls. Melt into the room.
I crocheted this star doily from a vintage pattern and took it to the Seashore to charge up. It will be used as an altar cloth for Sea magic.
CAN YOU LEAK THAT PATTERN????? Please????
It’s this pattern here. I had to make a few minor adjustments to the pattern when crocheting it, but it’s fairly easy and takes about 2 hours to complete (I am sort of slow at it). If you make one, tag me in it! I plan on trying out different weight yarns and hook sizes for future ones.
@she-who-treads-on-water I learned how to read a crochet patten just to make this 😅

I’ll barter crystals with someone if they can make me one 💖
Pinecones! For my 2018 Calendar that’s currently in progress, inspired by natural history specimens and vintage educational charts.
